The scoring formula

total score = sum of |predicted position − final position|

Predict a club 1st and it finishes 5th: 4 points. Exact positions add 0.

Joining after the season starts

late-entry total = placement score + (4 × started entry rounds)

When supported league fixtures have begun, you can still submit one late table. TablePredict adds four points for every entry round that has started before you save. An entry round follows each club's nth scheduled league fixture and begins at the earliest confirmed kickoff in that round, so postponements do not rely on inconsistent broadcaster matchweek labels.

A saved late entry is permanent and cannot be edited. It appears in the same Global leaderboard with its late-entry label and penalty included. Public consensus uses preseason entries only.

Live scoring

When a prediction score becomes final

Scores based on live standings are provisional. A prediction receives its final score only when the competition's final table is available, and scores should only be compared within the same competition and season.
